Bouche is SO UNIQUE. In the heart of SF downtown financial district where parking @ Stockton-Sutter garage is seamless and theatre district nearby (we went before seeing comedy & Shelton Theatre-a 5min walk). It is a preset, pre fixe menu with 3 courses. Our dinner was amazing- all in season farm to table generous portions with great friendly service. Cocktails are artisan also. It is a small place with a larger outdoor parklet. We ate at a table for 4 inside which was the only one at ground level- others are up staircase inside. It reminded me of a Manhattan restaurant I went to last Summer with steep staircase inside. Highly recommend Bouche!!

Glen is a ray of sunshine! He made us feel so welcomed and took such great care of us. Even as he was juggling several things at once, he always had a smile on his face. They serve a prix fixe meal which is fantastic for indecisive people like me! I enjoyed the unique addition of plump raisins in the taboule salad. The acidity of the citrus was delicious. I also had a taste of the asparagus soup which had a few chunks of asparagus and fatty bacon. The steelhead skin was perfectly crispy. Between the two dessert options, my favorite was the panna cotta, rhubarb, pistachio.

During the Focus on the Future conference (Marriott Marquis) in October, we hosted an executive business development dinner at Bouche on their mezzanine. From the moment I reached out to Julie regarding our event, she made coordinating from Southern CA a breeze! Our firm is employee-owned; whenever possible, I like to work with local, family-owned businesses. Working with the Owner and General Manager, Julie, was a pleasure. Their semi-private mezzanine seats 20, perfect for our intimate group of 16. They strictly offer a 3-course menu, which makes ordering food very convenient for a larger party. They requested we inform them of any food allergies at least a week in advance since their menu changes weekly/frequently. I received feedback that the food was excellent, and our server was a man of great fanfare who made the evening fun. I heard a mystery appetizer added as a great conversation piece as the anticipation grew about what the mystery item may be. Thank you, Julie and staff, for making this a memorable evening for us and our colleagues. Whenever I am in SF, I'll be sure to stop in, but I am giving Bouche 5 stars from an event standpoint! Bouche is a 10-minute or half-mile walk from Marriott Marquis; since we provided car service, I am unsure how the parking works.

A fancy meal without the intimidation of fancy restaurant etiquette! Felt like I was stepping into my aunt's intimate country cottage. We started off with champagne, an hors'durve, and large slabs of fluffy bread with butter(which i assumed was complimentary, but heads up it's not). I asked for some olive oil and vinegar, and they happily accommodated. On the $55 tasting menu (went with a large party so I got to sample both options) here's my consensus, prefer the: app: salad over the soup entree: lamb over the fish dessert: cake over the chocolate Things I would actually order again is the salad and the lamb. The salad (pretty standard), but had jewels of grapefruit which brought brightness and delight. The lamb was cooked to perfection, definition of a "perfect" bite (quite metaphorically and literally because of the small portion). The champagne was good, but can't really comment since I am not much of a drinker. To top off the night, the waiter (wished I got his name) beside being incredibly accommodating, he was also charming; and recited a poem at the end of the meal which brought delight to our table. It's fun to roleplay as the rich sometimes and enjoy a fancy meal, and I will always cherish this memory with Bouche; likely I would come again with a date or on a special occasion, but my bank account would like to think twice haha!

Such a cute little neighborhood French Bistro. We wanted to have Thanksgiving dinner close to home this year, and was delighted when we discovered Bouche was doing a four course dinner with a wine pairing. So, I quickly made a reservation. The butternut squash soup, and salad was delicious. The roasted turkey, and pecan pie was divine with a twist of French. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, we didn't feel neglected at all. From the initial greeting to the last course, all was smooth and friendly.

Venturing to San Francisco for our cherished annual music fest, the allure of Bouche beckoned. A mere hop, skip, and a jump from our hotel, this gem is easy to overlook if you're engrossed in your phone. But lift your eyes, and you'll discover a quaint hideaway. The interior exudes warmth, and who could miss that snug second floor seating? Although it was on the quieter side with just one other table occupied, the ambiance was spot on: subtle music and a tantalizing aroma wafting around, which I later realized belonged to their show-stealing potatoes. Our server, a recent city transplant, was delightful. Through rich conversation, she expertly steered us through the menu. My foodie adventure started with an array of small plates: the essential potatoes, some divinely cooked bacon, and deviled eggs - with a side of caviar curiosity. Verdict on the caviar? Interesting but might skip next time. A friend vouched for the omelette, labeling it nothing short of epic. The steak, however, didn't hit the mark for me. Now, the drinks - a refreshing mimosa for most, and an intriguing beer-limonade concoction which, against all odds, was rather delightful. The bread plate? Oh, that's a chapter on its own. Fresh bread varieties paired with salted butter and jams - a taste extravaganza! Though I might give a miss to the nutty raisin variant next time. Cost-wise, it was on the higher side. Maybe the caviar splurge wasn't the best for my wallet. But the bacon? Lord above, if you're a bacon aficionado, Boucher's rendition will change your life. In conclusion, Bouche offers a dining experience I might revisit. And if you go, that bacon is non-negotiable.

The Mrs. and I bunch this morning at Bouche. Well....to us it was breakfast. We had seen Bouche last night when we stopped at the Tunnel Top bar for drinks. We arrived around shortly before nine and were seated at a table for two outside. Our server Megan took our drink order. We ordered coffee but got an Americano instead. I assume Bouche doesn't offer drip coffee because an Americano was all that was offered to us. It was really good. The brunch menu is limited which I really like. The Mrs. and I decided to share a few dishes. We ordered the the bread basket which came with very generous slices of Capagne, Sourdough and Focaccia served with plumb jam, butter and honey. The bread is from ACME and it was so good. The other dish we ordered was the omelette consisting of a wild mushroom medley, marinated goat cheese and Herbes De Provence. I'm not the biggest fan of omelettes but the ingredients in Bouche's got my attention. It was such a light and flavorful dish. We also ordered a side of bacon which was incredible. We checked out the dinner menu online and it looks really good. Bouche offers a three course prix fix menu for $55. A bargain by San Francisco standards. Bouche's footprint is pretty small but the space is beautifully decorated. The service we received from Megan was great. She was attentive and personable. Two traits that sometimes lack in restaurant service in San Francisco.
